Joseph Bamford D.O.B 18/12/1985

I have recently enrolled at Salford University in order to achieve a BSC in audio and visual engineering. I intend to do this because I believe it will benefit my ability to function in the modern world, and add the the skills i already have. The course last 18 months and in that time i also intend to spend a lot of time learning about audio processing in my own time. Since leaving secondary school I have always had an urge to learn different things From 2005 to 2007, I attained a HND in Music Performance and Recording at Accrington College, and SSR. The course was split down the middle of music technology and music performance with modules in both. I spent a lot of time in the studio learning how to process music and developed a knowledge and interest in configuring EQ and other techniques of mastering. I also learned the basic principles of sound and acoustics. On the other modules on the course, I spent time researching promotional and marketing techniques whilst actively running my own nights out in my home town. This will always be an experience i can draw on in later projects.
